With over three decades of experience in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Mary Roberts has been a dedicated REALTOR® since 1989. Born the youngest of six, Mary moved to Lake Havasu in 1972 when the town had fewer than 5,000 residents. Over the years, she has witnessed and contributed to its growth into a thriving community of nearly 60,000.
After attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison, her hometown, Mary returned to Lake Havasu to pursue a career in real estate, following in the footsteps of her father. She began her journey with her family's brokerage, American Dream Homes, where she worked alongside her father and brother. Mary also gained experience managing a large property management company before focusing solely on residential real estate sales.
In 2015, Mary’s youngest son, Gunner Mitchell, joined her in the real estate business, forming a successful partnership that thrives on referrals from past clients, friends, and real estate professionals nationwide.
Mary’s commitment to the industry is rooted in the values passed down by her father. She has held numerous leadership positions, including twice serving as president of the Lake Havasu Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® and becoming president of the Lake Havasu Association of REALTORS® in 2013. She has also been actively involved with the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, serving as Regional Vice President from 2014 to 2015, and is a consistent presence at national real estate conferences.
In 2017, Mary was elected Treasurer of the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, eventually rising to serve as its President in 2020. Throughout her career, she has worked to empower others to engage in the industry and advocate for private property rights in Arizona.
A committed supporter of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), Mary is a Major Investor, maintaining the prestigious Golden R President's Circle level. Her dedication to the profession is further reflected in her long-standing commitment to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics, always prioritizing the honor of helping others achieve homeownership.
